TEA Party can Party
Tea Party is not all politics and policy
Tea Party can party
The inaugural 2010 Virginia Tea Party Patriots Convention kicks off first thing Friday at the Convention Center in downtown Richmond.
There are plenty of break-out seminars, policy speeches and keynote addresses to keep even the most avid political junkie engaged from Rep. Ron Paul to political strategist and former Clinton advisor Dick Morris to the trifecta of Virginia’s elected leaders in Gov. Bob McDonnell, Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling and Tea Party superstar Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli.
But possibly the real action will take place when the sun goes down as the real Tea Party begins. Originally touted as a one room ‘Freedom Lovers’ Extravaganza’ it has mushroomed into a massive ‘Club Hopping at the Marriott’ with the:
•Freedom Fever Dance Hall
•Liberty Lovers Lounge and Martini Bar
•Don’t Tread on Me Saloon
•TEA’d Off Coffee House
Tired from debating the merits of fiscal responsibility and lower taxes the tea partiers can get down and boogie with Mo’Sol, an Atlanta dance band, Canadian sensation John Morello who pays tribute to the legendary Dean Martin and a ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ poker game and open piano. For those who want a quiet retreat from all the tea partier action the open mic, tea and desserts at the TEA’d Off beckon.
The theme for the evening is “Virginia is for Freedom Lovers” but whether the tea partiers throw away fiscal responsibility for one night is anyone’s guess; poker, beer, dancing, desserts, martinis and they might just be spending like a drunken sailor. Or the Obama administration…

Thank goodness! The dawn of reckoning for the Democrats is practically upon us! Finally, the GOPs get to steamroll that liberal train wreck that has made a stupid mess of things.
